Aloe vera is a plant that has been used to treat various human and animal diseases. This plant is now used to make soap, human and animal medicines and many other things.
And because many industrial drugs fail to treat some diseases because insects have developed resistance, there is a great need to place importance on natural medicines derived from plants.
Aloe vera has the ability to treat chicken diseases, especially coccidiosis and to some extent Newcastle disease. Studies have been conducted using this plant to treat coccidiosis, which can be used as an alternative to industrial drugs.
The juice of this plant has the ability to treat diseases and heal wounds caused by infectious diseases as well as increase chicken immunity by 50 percent against various diseases. The aloe vera plant can be planted near chicken coops to facilitate its access and it tolerates almost all areas.
Wild Shubiri for chicken growth According to studies conducted by Bejar (University of Agriculture and Forestry of Samar) and Clapo (University of the Eastern Philippines) it is shown that the addition of wild Shubiri to water significantly helps chickens grow faster.
15 to 20 milliliters of wild Shubiri juice mixed with five liters of water daily for 90 chickens is able to support chicken growth and increase their weight compared to those that are not given.
Preparation of Wild aloe vera:
One wild alovera can be cut into pieces and soaked in 1-3 liters of drinking water depending on the number of chickens. Leave them there for several days until you change the water and then put the others in. If you can strain the wild Aloe vera broth then you are using 15 milliliters in five liters of chicken drinking water for 90 chickens if you have few chickens then reduce the amount of medicine or increase if there are many.
Wounds:
Chickens with wounds such as Newcastle Disease should be made into a paste. Cut small pieces of wild Aloe vera then mix with a little bran, grind and grind them to make a smooth paste. Dry it and then store it well ready to use as soon as the chickens get sick. Chickens with wounds should be washed well with clean water and soap with a little salt. After that, apply the Aloe vera powder to the wounds
