CHICKENS REARING FROM 30 TO 60 DAYS (new) I Mshindo Media

There are important things to consider in the early days of your chicks so that they grow well and bring you positive results.

The coop should be clean and large enough for the chicks according to the recommended square meters. They should not be crowded as this can lead to uneven growth and chicks.

to stagnate.

to tease each other carelessly.

When chicks have adequate immunity, they can withstand diseases for a long time before they die. This helps the farmer deal with the problem in a shorter period of time.

Chicks should be fed factory-made feed for 30 to 60 days. After that, you can mix the feed yourself, but only using the correct formula.

Food and water containers should be clean at all times. Avoid using containers that leak water as this will cause the hut to remain damp for a long time and cause diseases.

The temperature should be correct and should be reduced every week because as the chicks get older, the heat in the coop becomes less needed. Often, heat sources are within 30 to 36 days.

Vaccinations should be given on time and on a specific schedule. Check the progress of your chicks three days before vaccination to determine if there is any disease. If there is an infectious disease in the barn, do not vaccinate your chicks until you have treated them and they have recovered. A sick chicken should not be vaccinated until it has recovered first.

Keep your bedding clean at all times.

Air should enter and exit the enclosure without causing any adverse effects.

Disabled chicks should be separated

Follow professional instructions before using the water.

These are just a few to consider. I will continue to highlight many more as time permits.
