VERY IMPORTANT THINGS ABOUT INCUBATORS (new) | Mshindo media

Incubators are machines used to incubate various living organisms, especially birds.

TYPES OF INCUBATORS

Forced Air IncubatorStill Air Incubators

FORCED AIR INCUBATOR

Forced Air Incubators are machines with fans to disperse heat inside incubators.

STILL AIR INCUBATORS

This is a machine, not a fan.

WHAT IS GOOD?

It is recommended to use/buy Forced Air Incubators, they are the best and will not bother you, however, for large incubators almost all are Forced air, and often small ones are still air.

START INCUBATOR IN OPERATION

Manual

Automatic

MANUAL INCUBATORS

These use their hands to turn eggs and in other matters such as temperature control and so on.

AUTOMATIC INCUBATORS

These operate like a computer, everything is done automatically so manual work is greatly reduced. If you have an Automatic Incubator and it has a part that automatically adds water, then you can even cut the eggs without looking at your machine and it will work without any problems.

WHAT IS GOOD?

In fact, modern life requires Automatic Incubators that will not require you to be constantly present to control the machine, although there are times when Manual is needed rather than Automatic and there are times when Automatic is needed rather than Manual.

NB: Most automatics have a manual, meaning there is a shifter to manual, but almost all manuals do not have a shifter to automatic.

BUT THEY ALL WORK EQUALLY, THE DIFFERENCE IS ONE IS AUTOMATIC AND THE OTHER IS MANUAL.

VERY  IMPORTANT THINGS  ABOUT   INCUBATORS

Types of incubators, Model of operation, Manufacturer, Energy used and renewable energy.

 MANUFACTURE

Many foreign incubators are very good, there are those from Italy, Denmark, UK, China, USA, India, South Africa, Turkey and so on and the prices vary. And you will see that incubators like those from UK, South, USA, Italy are very expensive compared to those from China or India. But the price difference is not an issue and as you know China has its own policy regarding International Trade that is why.

The machines produced locally are also good and some are inferior, but manufacturers need to invest more in research and not just focus on sales. They need to be improved more and more so that they have good standards.

SOURCE OF ENERGY

Almost all incubators use electricity as the primary source and solar, coal or gas as the secondary source, although there are some that also use kerosene as the primary source.

ALTENATIVE SOURCE OF ENERGY

Every type of manufacturer has its own alternative energy source, there are gas, there are solar power, there are steam, there are kerosene, and there are coal.

GOOD ALTERNATIVE SOURCE

For me, incubators whose alternative source of energy is steam have become very popular. Here, when the electricity goes out, you connect a pipe to the machine and you have a special kettle and you put it in the kitchen, the water boils and the steam flows to the incubators. It is a very good source. Even the sun is a cool source.

BUT STILL SOLAR OR GAS SOURCES ARE VERY GOOD ALTERNATIVES.

INCUBATOR PROBLEMS

Many incubators have one very big problem, incubators can break down and you don’t even know it, and by the time you get to the point of panic, all the eggs have been destroyed, and that is a very big problem.

EXAMPLE:

Heating tubes can die and you don’t even know, and if you come to a standstill it has ruined everything Humidity Tube can die and you don’t know and if you come to a standstill it is a disaster Eggs turning can die and you don’t even notice for two days Humidity sensor and temperature sensor can die and you don’t know anything And often one device can fail and the others continue to work without any problems but it happens like that, For example a machine can have a dead Humidity tube, and then it can continue to work and some time it is very difficult to detect. And unlike machines like a car, when an Incubator breaks down while you have laid eggs it is a complete disaster, if you don’t have another machine it will have ruined all the eggs.

POWER OUTAGE

If the electricity goes out and you use gas, kerosene or coal as another source, you must turn the eggs by hand, and here the problem is that the machine cannot accept turning, you must press the switch to change from automatic to manual.  HERE IS ADVANCED WORK

And finally, regarding the operation of incubators, operation is often a very big problem, especially in adjusting temperature and humidity, which must vary according to certain areas or periods, heat and cold.
