The poultry business is concentrated in a very wide field depending on the types of chicken, in many urban areas meat chickens have been selling well, although at prices that are not friendly to the farmer.
In many areas, farmers have been raising chickens expecting to sell them from the 28th-30th day, or if they are too late, then no later than 35 days, although there are others who sell earlier or later due to various reasons.
Things to consider so that broilers can grow properly.
Food
For rapid growth, broilers should be fed most of the day. Experienced broiler breeders have testified that broilers should be kept lit 24 hours a day and given water and food.
For an estimated 100 chickens, broilers have been raised using the following feed bags:
Broiler starter crumble days 1-13 one bag
Broiler Grower Pellets 14-22 days two bags
Broiler finisher Pellets 23 days – sell two bags
NB: There is evidence that 100 broilers can use only four bags until they are sold, this depends greatly on the type of feed and their space in the pen.
Many breeders have grown away from feeding food and are giving them vitamins, mollases and Boosters as follows:
Neoxychick & multivitamin days 1-5
Vitamins like Amintoto days 7-10
Bro-booster and Mollases days 11-24
Avipunch booster days remaining until sale
This use of vitamins is not legal, it is used to reduce costs.
VACCINATION
In my experience the system that I am used to using
Day 7 Newcastle/Kideri
Day 14 Gumboro
Day 21 Newcastle
Formula B
Newcastle day 7
Gumboro day 14
Gumboro day 21
NB: Smallpox is not vaccinated against broilers, but they have sometimes contracted smallpox if they are delayed in being sold.
SPACE
Technically, 10 broilers should be housed in one square meter, this will greatly help reduce the number of broiler cases caused by wetting the litter.
Broilers naturally drink a lot of water, which leads to the house becoming very wet. This situation has led many farmers to have the habit of changing the house frequently.
Changing diapers frequently is not a good idea, but you can remove the wet diaper and replace it with a dry diaper. This will help you greatly in reducing the risk of getting a cold.
I advise that if it becomes absolutely necessary, then the straps should be changed only 3 times IF NECESSARY.
MARKETS
Broilers have been widely sold, to individuals, families, supermarkets, street meat vendors, hotels, schools and various other places. ADVICE: Find your reliable market and be prepared to protect it. Broiler prices vary from region to region.
NURSING SYSTEM
To ensure your market grows sustainably and avoid losing customers, I advise
If you have a capital of 500 chickens, it is better to invest 250 chickens this week, then 250 after 2 weeks. This will simplify the cash flow of the project. DO NOT raise 500 chickens and then sell them after 30 days, then keep the rest. It will be very difficult to grow the project (based on the little research I did when visiting breeders).
Like other white meats, broilers also help improve the health of the flock, but the farmer should strive not to use large amounts of chemicals that may harm the end user.

DISEASES IN BROILERS
Coccidiosis, diarrhea with mucus or blood (drugs Agracox, vetacoxy, or Anticox for hemorrhagic diarrhea)
Flu, how early to detect and you can use (Fluban, Flutan, Tylodox, and Enrovet)
When you give them these medicines, give them vitamins to reduce their stress.
